Method 1: Measure an Existing Ring Recommended

This is the easiest and most accurate method if you already own a ring that fits the intended finger.

Option A: Measure with a Ruler or Digital Caliper

1. Place the ring on a flat surface.
2. Measure the inside diameter of the ring at its widest point (inside edge to inside edge).
3. Compare your measurement with the Ring Size Chart below.

Option B: Use a Ring Sizing App

You may also use a reputable ring sizing app on your smartphone to measure the inside diameter of an existing ring.

Method 2: Measure Your Finger

If you do not have an existing ring, you can measure your finger using a thin strip of paper or a piece of string.

How to Measure

1. Wrap a thin strip of paper or string around the base of your finger.
2. The strip should fit snugly against your finger without leaving any gaps, but should not be so tight that it compresses the skin or causes discomfort.
3. Mark the point where the ends meet.
4. Measure the length in millimeters.
5. Compare your measurement with the Finger Circumference column in the Ring Size Chart.

Method 3: Visit a Local Jeweler Most Accurate

For the most accurate sizing, visit your local jeweler. Most jewelers can professionally measure your ring size in just a few minutes, often free of charge.

This is especially recommended for:

• Engagement rings
• Wedding bands
• Surprise gifts
• Custom-made rings
• Rings with wider bands

Additional Sizing Tips

• Measure your finger at the end of the day, when it is at its largest.
• Avoid measuring cold fingers, as they may be temporarily smaller.
• If your knuckle is significantly larger than the base of your finger, measure both areas and choose a size that comfortably slides over your knuckle while fitting securely once worn.
• Wider bands (6 mm or more) typically fit more snugly than thinner bands. Consider selecting a half size larger for added comfort.
