Choosing the correct ring size ensures a comfortable fit and lasting enjoyment. If you're unsure of your size, use one of the methods below before placing your order.


Method 1: Measure an Existing Ring Recommended

This is the easiest and most accurate method if you already own a ring that fits the intended finger.

Option A: Measure with a Ruler or Digital Caliper

  1. Place the ring on a flat surface.
  2. Measure the inside diameter of the ring at its widest point (inside edge to inside edge).
  3. Compare your measurement with the Ring Size Chart below.

Option B: Use a Ring Sizing App

You may also use a reputable ring sizing app on your smartphone to measure the inside diameter of an existing ring.

Method 2: Measure Your Finger

If you do not have an existing ring, you can measure your finger using a thin strip of paper or a piece of string.

How to Measure

  1. Wrap a thin strip of paper or string around the base of your finger.
  2. The strip should fit snugly against your finger without leaving any gaps, but should not be so tight that it compresses the skin or causes discomfort.
  3. Mark the point where the ends meet.
  4. Measure the length in millimeters.
  5. Compare your measurement with the Finger Circumference column in the Ring Size Chart.

Important

Measuring too loosely is the most common reason customers select a ring that is too large.

The paper or string should fit similarly to how you would like your ring to fit:

  • Snug enough that it does not spin freely.
  • Comfortable enough to slide over your knuckle with gentle resistance.

If your measurement falls between two sizes, we recommend selecting the larger size.


Method 3: Visit a Local Jeweler Most Accurate

For the most accurate sizing, visit your local jeweler. Most jewelers can professionally measure your ring size in just a few minutes, often free of charge.

This is especially recommended for:

  • Engagement rings
  • Wedding bands
  • Surprise gifts
  • Custom-made rings
  • Rings with wider bands

Additional Sizing Tips

  • Measure your finger at the end of the day, when it is at its largest.
  • Avoid measuring cold fingers, as they may be temporarily smaller.
  • If your knuckle is significantly larger than the base of your finger, measure both areas and choose a size that comfortably slides over your knuckle while fitting securely once worn.
  • Wider bands (6 mm or more) typically fit more snugly than thinner bands. Consider selecting a half size larger for added comfort.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt with seller prior approval. Item must be postmarked within 14 days of receipt. We do not accept returns for worn items. Items must be returned with unremoved tags and in original packaging. If an item is received damaged or we sent the wrong item, please notify the day of receipt with a picture of item. Items must be returned with un-removed tag and in original packaging. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges.

We accept PayPal and Credit Cards from customers within the United States.

International Buyers may use PayPal and Credit Cards as well, depending on the items and situation. Wire transfer, cash deposit, check and TransferWise are also accepted with prior approval. Please email/contact us for payment options and/or any information needed; we will be happy to help :).

RETURN POLICY

Orders can be canceled within 24 hours. Returns are accepted within 7 days of receipt if items are unworn, undamaged, and in original packaging. Custom, made-to-order, engraved, vintage, estate, and pre-owned items are final sale. All returns are inspected by our jewelers; worn or altered items may incur up to a 25% restocking fee or be rejected. Shipping costs and return labels are the responsibility of the customer and will be deducted from refunds.
SHIPPING INFORMATION

Shipping & Handling Policy: Orders ship via FedEx or USPS, with method based on order value. A signature is required for deliveries over $100. We ship only to street addresses (no P.O. boxes). Multiple items may ship separately. International orders are subject to duties/taxes paid by the customer; some destinations may be restricted. Most in-stock items ship the same day, but some may require 1–2 weeks handling. All packages are insured and require a signature upon receipt.

All items shown on the website are subject to prior sale. Although we attempt to display only products that are available for immediate purchase, occasionally we may have a product that is for sale on the website that is unavailable. Many of our items are Custom or Made-To-Order

Price & Order Changes

Product prices are subject to change. We reserve the right to cancel an order and refund a customer’s money at anytime, especially if we find that a price is listed incorrectly on our website. In addition, we reserve the right to change prices for the same product to reflect changes in our vendor’s suggested retail prices, fluctuations in demand or the cost of component materials for an item, etc.

Order Status & Lead Times

Upon receipt of the order, you will receive an order confirmation and a Galt team member will reach out within 2-7 business days with order updates or a tracking number. Lead-times vary by item type. Many of our in stock inventory are showcased around the US and the world through our boutiques, partner retailers, tradeshows and private events, therefore some items will require 1-2 weeks of handling before we are able to ship them out to you. Please reach out to us with any questions regarding the shipping & handling of specific items before purchasing. We will also reach out after order confirmation to you to relay the amount of time it will take to prepare and handle the item before it can be shipped out to you. 

We do have specific inventory in stock but our main priority is on Made To Order items, which have approximate creation and shipping time windows listed in items’ descriptions. If the piece is in stock we can ship immediately, but if we do not have available inventory, each piece is individually made and requires a 8-10 week creation and shipping window. Rings require a 8-10 week lead time, as we do not carry all sizes. Custom and Made-to-Order pieces require a 8-10 week creation and shipping window once artwork/design renderings/wax sample models has been approved. Please inquire if there is a greater urgency to the timing of the delivery. We wish to accommodate customer’s delivery requests if it’s in our ability.

You can choose to cancel your order within 24 hours of receipt of shipping window notice. If we do not receive a notice of cancellation within 24 hours, we will go forward with production and the return policy will apply.
